I am Elli Mazzanti, drawing since I was in first grade, I have always enjoyed it.  I feel as if I like making art for a lot of reasons. I think for the same reasons as others it’s a way to vent out my emotions and feelings.  Sometimes there are feelings you just can not explain with words and watching people enjoy looking at my art and expressing the emotion I put into it, is very fulfilling.  There are hundreds of thousands of different forms of art, but I think I am simple in which ones I find enjoy the most.  I love semi-realistic drawings, an example having a detailed face still having characteristics of a cartoonish style put into it is fascinating.  Along with this, cartoon styles are always so loose and smooth, it all looks so nice together.  I’ve been asked a thousand times what I want to do with my art in the future.  Put simply, I’m not sure.  Many tell me to get into animation, and that seems cool, but I’m not sure I would enjoy it.  Commissions were something I have tried, it’s fun, but I feel as if it may get stressful and I don’t want something I enjoy so much to turn into an overwhelming job.  I have recently started making comics though, it’s enjoyable so far, and I hope it stays that way.
