I come from a family line of welders, and I have welded in the past as well. The art form that truly inspires me is Pyrography, which is a form of art that involves wood, and a tool called a wood burner. It is an art form where you trace an image on a piece of wood and use your wood burning tool to engrave said image into the wood. My goal through this process was to find something most wouldn’t think of capturing but also something I could connect with. I have enjoyed photography and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn about a different art form. In photography my favorite type of photo shooting is portraits of others. The reason behind this is because I can connect with someone and have a genuine conversation all the while making them feel confident about themselves.
