The metallic nature of this close-up is what caught my eye at first; creating a new world by cutting out the extra bits on the outside. All I had to do was come up close then take a picture to give everyone a new view on something we use every day. Most color was already gone due it being a chrome type of metal but capturing in black and white gave a mysterious and otherworldly feeling to it. So far, my favorite type of photography is black and white because of how it takes the color out and enhances the edges and lines bringing complete focus on the subject. It can take a complex subject and background and make it simple. You can take a fun photo then turn it eerie or creepy in nature.
