“If there is one thing, I have learned from art is to embrace my mistakes and create beauty out of them.”

Adam Delarosa, Freshman Artist

Hello, everyone my name is Adam Delarosa, and I am a freshman, and this is my biography. I would like to tell you more about myself. I haven’t had any prior knowledge of art or tried art for that matter, and I thought why not give art a chance and see what there is to it. When I was deciding classes for my freshmen year, I thought to myself I haven’t been a very creative person but let see what art I can do with art. If there is one thing, I have learned from art is to embrace my mistakes and create beauty out of them. That Is why I think that art is important to modern society It teaches us to make good out of the mistakes we may make. This is a bit off track, but I found, when I was producing art, that it’s very easy to sit down and enjoy the thing in front of me and sometimes I would listen to music which was really calming. My all-time favorite art to do was 2-point perspective drawings. I don’t know why it was very exciting to create a 2-point perspective drawing on a flat piece of paper and see it come to life. My Favorite medium must be graphite because it is very simple to draw with just one pencil. My future plans are looking amazing but personally I don’t think I will be taking another art class but understand that the time I had was very fun. One of the many things I have learned in art is creating an art piece takes time. What my art represents about me is even when I don’t create a perfect-looking piece of art I can always look back and say that I am human. And Humans are not perfect, but still beautiful, like art.
