Jada Brown

Art taught me that it doesn’t matter if your piece isn’t “perfect”, but instead the effort you put into that piece is what makes it special.

Jada Brown, Junior Artist

Hi I’m Jada Brown. A little about me is that I am a Junior at Righetti and that prior to this class I had little to no real experience with art. Art is important to society because it lets us express ourselves in all different ways. It helps connect people of all backgrounds. Producing art helps me find a sense of a happy place. Art was actually able to boost my mood after every class which I found surprising. My favorite kind of art to make were definitely zentangles! My favorite medium was colored pencils. Although I don’t have plans to continue art classes, I may try to start drawing on my spare time to relieve some stress. In art I have learned how to do one and two point perspective drawings, collages, zentangles, and more. By doing art, I was able to draw what I wanted and express who I am as a person. Art taught me that it doesn’t matter if your piece isn’t “perfect”, but instead the effort you put into that piece is what makes it special.
