“Cherry” – My painting may seem simple, but deep down, it means way more. When I was little, I used to own a cherry tree. Over the years, the tree started to decay, and soon, we had to chop it down. Now at the time, it didn’t seem like such a big deal, but as I grew up it made me understand the meaning of growth. I had grown to love and have a cherry tree. And eventually, when the tree had grown to its fullest, its time had come. So, how does my painting of one cherry connect to this story you may ask? Well, it’s quite simple. This one cherry resembles someone growing throughout life. Right now, they are at there fullest point. And one day, soon they will understand the meaning of growth and change throughout their years. I want everyone to not only admire my artwork and hard work, but also reflect on their life and how they will grow as a person.
